Power Calculations – Cooling Tower Fan
Objective/Method/Outcome
Objective: Calculates the power demand of cooling tower fan.
Method: Calculates the Actual Runtime demand by using the equipment Amps, the Voltage Rating, the Voltage Phase Conversion, and the Power Factor. The actual runtime demand is used to calculate the hourly consumption.
Outcome: This rule runs Power calculations but triggers no insight.
Description
Calculates power demand and consumption from amperage trends and voltage rating. This rule is part of the CopperTree Standard rule-set.
