Fume hood airflow is not reaching setpoint
Objective/Method/Outcome
Objective: Determines if the airflow was reaching setpoint
Method: Compares the recorded airflow to the setpoint to detect if the airflow is below the acceptable threshold (10% by default) for more than the acceptable amount of time during occupancy.
Outcome: Generates an insight.
Description
Fume hood airflow is unable to reach setpoint, which may have negative health and safety implications.
This rule is part of the CopperTree Standard rule-set.
Default Priority
High
Diagnosis
- Check fumehood control and programming logic.
- Review airflow sensor calibration.
Message
Fume hood airflow is below setpoint, which may have negative health and safety implications.
