Supply air temperature is modulating excessively

Objective/Method/Outcome

Objective: Determines if Supply Air Temperature is changing excessively

Method: Monitors the recorded Supply Air Temperature to determine if it is changing, the absolute values of the change are added and the daily average daily change during occupied hours is found.

Outcome: Triggers an insight.

Description

Monitors supply air temperature to determine if it is modulating excessively. This rule is part of the CopperTree Standard ruleset.

Default Priority

Diagnosis

  1. Input sensor(s) faulty or miscalibration. Verify input sensor(s) operation.
  2. Error in control sequence. Review and modify programmed sequence of operation.
  3. Issue with control loop. Review and modify controller tuning parameters.
