Kaizen Release Note: V3.1.0
Release date: 2017-02-14
Enhancements
Exchange data with ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager®
- The Kaizen Building Dashboard can display a widget to indicate the EPA’s 1-100 ENERGY STAR Score for any property that meets their requirements.
This functionality requires you to add CopperTree Analytics as a Contact, and then share your Property and Meters from within the EPA’s ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager software.
To ensure correct Building/Property mapping between Kaizen and ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager, the CopperTree Analytics team will add your Portfolio Manager Property ID into the appropriate Kaizen building profile.
General UI
- Time-stamps for all elements will now be shown in the local time of the building. This building local time (BLT) is independent of the browser time. To have this function properly, the time zone needs to be defined correctly in the building profile pages. Date range selectors, as well as report and insight rule run times, will all be displayed in the local time of the building.
- Some date range controls have been relocated in order to implement the Building Local Time functionality in the Chart and Report pages.

- Adding a new Trend Log to the TL Viewer will no longer change the date range when a defined range is selected.
- Trend Log preview link will again open the Trend Log Viewer in a new tab.
Known Bugs
Reporting
- The date listed in report PDF files is not being generated in building local time. Instead, it is using Vancouver time (UTC-8). This issue will be fixed in the next release of Kaizen. (3.1.1)
