Description
The CopperCube user interface (UI) allows the user to configure the CopperCube so that it can connect to the BACnet network, collect the data and send it to the secure servers. This user interface is password protected and requires the user to login in order to access the features.
The following steps can be taken to log into the CopperCube:
- If you are accessing the CopperCube UI for the first time, connect the CopperCube (through the fixed IP/diagnostic port) directly to your computer using a network cable.
- Turn the CopperCube ON by pressing the power button on the device.
- Wait for about two minutes for the CopperCube to start up.
- On your internet browser, enter the fixed IP: 169.254.8.29 for CopperCubes purchased after 2014 March 1 in the address bar and hit Enter
- This will take you to the status page of the user interface. Click on Login to log into the UI.
- Enter partner as username and the serial number of the CopperCube as the password and then click LOGIN. This will direct you to the Status page. From there, you can browse to the different pages on the UI.
Note: if you have already changed the password of the CopperCube, use the new password to login. The username is always the partner.
