Overview of CopperCube 1.11
This release has many stability and user interface changes, including improved integration with enteliWEB.
New Features in CopperCube
Infrastructure
- Licensing process is improved to allow upgrades in size and SQL connector.
- Archiver engine improved to better deal with non-Delta controllers.
Web User Interface
- Cubes without internet access will display as working on the Status page
- Field upgrade of firmware available from GUI
- The cube shows DHCP address to aid in determining the network address
- Object Collection Time defaults to 0100 (1 am) so that Kaizen Device monitoring can show statistics for the day.
- For security reasons, data transmissions are disabled. To enable, navigate to Settings → Data Destinations
- UI improved so that adding Sites and Devices is better organized.
- Trend Log Management page has many improvements including a direct link to viewing Trend Log data.
- Improved diagnostics with a Site and Device page to show the current status
Issues Fixed in CopperCube 1.11
enteliWEB
- Actively removes the historical sessions that are created by enteliWEB calls to avoid filling the hard drive
- Handles more efficiently the data request from enteliWEB to reduce the CPU load.
Known Issues in CopperCube
Infrastructure
- enteliWEB 2.2 Beta 4 or newer is required to connect to the CopperCube due to patching for poodle vulnerability
Web User Interface
- The backup will fail with large databases. A manual workaround is possible by CopperTree Customer Solutions.
