Description
When analyzing cumulative readings, such as energy meters, it is often necessary to look at the difference between measured values, rather than absolute values. When applied to a trended data series, the Delta* Logic Block calculates and outputs the differences between consecutive values. In this way, we can easily examine the rate of change within a meter.
Functionality
Output: Timestamps are identical to that of input data series. Values are calculated as the difference between the values corresponding to current and previous time stamps.
