This release improves the Kaizen operation and fixes issues that were identified.
Improvements in Kaizen V2.1.8
General UI
- Updates to provide better clarity and formatting. These include feedback messages, tooltips, and general formatting.
- An inactive user session will now return the user to the login page.
Insights
- Kaizen Version 1.6 is no longer available. The link to it from the Kaizen login page has been removed.
Insights
- Golden Standard configuration has been modified to analyze 125 properties as default.
- Working rules that depend on Calculated Trend Logs as input will now be recomputed when the input CTLs are updated.

- Multi-Purpose Chart – a third y-axis is available in the multipurpose-non-cumulative-chart and multipurpose-cumulative-charts.
Vault
- Device Backups pages have undergone a major update
- Backups are listed and show device name, Device number, and date of the last backup
- Backup status is indicated to show missing or late backups
- Users are able to download or e-mailing single backup files
- Quick filters to show devices that have recent, stale or missing device backups
- The last sample date will now be shown for Multi-Trends in the TL Viewer pages
Bug Fixes
Energy
- Meter data on Energy View pages will now load faster.
- When viewing a weekly view, the calendar dates will be shown for the entire month to provide proper context.
- Energy OAT data is will now average properly for all data polling intervals.
Insights
- When a Rule Template is disabled, the corresponding Working Rules will now be properly disabled.
Reporting
- Multipurpose Reports will now display the correct right axis labels.
- Updated the report PDF generation so that an empty page is no longer included at the end of some reports.
