OAD is short cycling

Objective/ Method/Outcome

Objective: Determines if the Outdoor Air Damper is turning on and off more than the threshold

Method: Uses the Damper Status trend log to determine if the damper is on or off. Counts the daily cycles of on and off and triggers an insight if the on-off cycles are greater than the threshold

Outcome: An insight is triggered.

Description

This rule analyzes damper status changes using Analog or Binary trend log, triggering an insight when daily cycles exceeds a threshold.

This rule is part of the CopperTree Standard rule-set. (Aliased Celsius / Aliased Fahrenheit)
