New Features
General
- A new login page. This will eventually allow for single login for all users.
- Update to the My Dashboard widget to display the Insights assigned to logged-in user.
- Building dashboards have been updated so selecting the links in the widgets will open the Insight Management pages to filter for the appropriate Insights.
API
- A new data format is available for the get_tl_data_start_end API. Using data=align will output the Trend Log data normalized with a 5-minute frequency.
Insight Management
- Insight Management is a new feature in this release. This replaces the Insight List and Insight Details pages and provides a customizable list to view Insight details. Features of Insight Management include:
- Default and customizable views to display insight details. These views can have customizable columns, filtering, sorting, and grouping.
- Calendars to show when insights were active and/or inactive.
- Export of views to PDF, CSV, or Excel format
- Action history to show all the activities and comments that were done to deal with the insight.
- A number of actions can be performed on individual or groups of insights:
- Assignment of insights to Kaizen users as a workflow for investigation and repair
- Tagging with default and custom tags
- Place comments on the Insights.
- Disable or enable the Working Rule associated with the Insight
- Change the status of the insight – Open, In-Progress, Closed
- Use the Insight to promote the insight content to the Golden Standard
- As part of the changes to Insight Management, Insights are restricted to only one per day for each Working Rule.
Reporting
- Reports can be created using the new Insight Management Reporting feature. This allows users to create reports on demand based on Insight Management views.
- With the introduction of the Insight Management features, Reports related to insights are deprecated and have been removed from the Chart Community Library. Charts using the Insights-based templates will be no longer be accessible.
