How to Manage Rules

Description

Sometimes as Kaizen users we will not want to, for various reasons, run certain Working Rules in our Buildings.

When this is the case, we can Disable its Rule Template or the Working Rule itself to stop it from running.

Disable/Enable Rules

We can Disable/Enable individual Working Rules or all the Working Rules associated with a Rule Template

Disable/Enable all Working Rules associated with a Rule Template

The following steps detail how to disable all working rules associated with a rule template:

  1. Click the Insights icon from a Building Dashboard.
  2. Click the Settings icon near the top middle of the Insights Log.
  3. Use Filters and the Search Bar to find the Rule Template and click the View icon to see it in detail.
  4. Toggle the On/Off button at the top left of the Rule Template’s page to enable/disable it.

Disable/Enable an individual Working Rule

The following steps detail how to disable or enable an individual working rule:

  1. Click the Insights icon from a Building Dashboard.
  2. Click the Settings icon near the top middle of the Insights Log.
  3. Use Filters and the Search Bar to find the Rule Template and click the View icon to see it in detail.
  4. Scroll to the Working Rules section and tick the box next to the Working Rule(s) to be enabled/disabled.
  5. Toggle the Enable Selected/Disable Selected button at the top left of the Working Rules list to enable/disable.
