Overview of Kaizen V2.1.2
This release improves the Kaizen operation and fixes issues that were identified.
Improvements in Kaizen V2.1.2
Charts
- A new Multi-use chart is available from the Community Library. This flexible chart template can be used to create charts flexible charts that can include up to 10 meters
- A new Bin 6 Analysis chart is available for temperatures in Fahrenheit
- New Building Operator Charts
- Equipment in Hand – lists all equipment that has been manually overridden at the BAS.
- Schedules Changed – lists all schedules that have been modified as compared to a ‘previous version’ of the same schedule.
- Setpoints in Manual – lists all set points that have been manually overridden at the BAS.
- Detail Insight Report – lists all insights that have been triggered by the specified rule template.
- A larger preview image will now be displayed for Community Library charts.
- A new hyperlink will be added when configuring a working chart. It will link to the specified TL and open the Trend Log Viewer for that Trend Log.
Client
- Kaizen Version 1.6 is no longer available. The link to it from the Kaizen login page has been removed.
Energy
- CSV export of meter data is now available from the meters list. The meter data can be specified by date range and aggregation interval and exported to a CSV file.
Estimator
- New reasons for archiving a submitted quote have been added: ‘Lost’ (a competitor won the bid), ‘Dead’ (the project went nowhere), ‘On-Hold’.
- All references to FDD in orders have been updated to Integrity. These fixes apply to orders in the Kaizen Client as well as generated PDFs.
- Archived quotes are can now be opened and viewed.
- PDF files can now be created from quotes that are in any state (submitted, draft, etc.)
- Draft quotes can now be cloned.
Insights
- Golden Standard configuration has been modified to analyze 125 properties as default.
- Golden Standard Configurations can be copied from one building to another. This is only available for Admin users.
- Manage Working Rule gear icon has been modified from “Manage Insight” to “Manage Working Rule”.
Reports
- All client logos that a user is able to see (or view) can now be used within reports.
Bug Fixes
API
- In some API calls, timestamps are being changed for time-value pairs, and adding those pairs to API results. In these cases, the timestamps are now being checked to ensure there is no duplicate data being returned.
- System API calls are now able to return data in an interval that is smaller than one day.
Charts
- Exporting the content from an Insights Digest chart will now create a correct CSV file.
Client
- Cancel action now works properly when a new Kaizen key is generated and the change does not need to be saved.
- Pop-up status balloons will now be the top-most element on the page so no content behind will show through.
- Updated confirmation messages for clarity and understanding.
Energy
- Graphical content for meter breakdown view will now show properly in the Internet Explorer browser.
Estimator
- The target margin format has been clarified and will be shown as a percentage
- Saved quote and quote approved times will now be properly converted from UTC versions.
- After a user has created order, the user will now be correctly taken to the orders list page.
- The delay has been removed from when a quote is archived and when it can appear on the archived list page.
- Special Pricing Requests are able to be sorted by the date the request was made.
Insights
- The filter buttons on the Manage Working rules pages can be selected and unselected properly.
- Promote icon on the Golden Standard difference page is now responsive.
Logic Builder
- The preview for the Delta Logic Block will now display the correct results if no data is available in the selected time range.
- Environment Canada Logic Block is delivering data correctly.
Vault
- TL Import
- Leading and trailing whitespace characters will now be trimmed from all text input when creating an Imported Trend Log.
- Improved handling of invalid input data.
- When removing data from an Imported Trend Log, data from other select trend logs will no longer also be removed.
- TL Viewer CSV import will export data for the full data range specified including the last day in a date range
- TL Viewer graph will show the correct time scale for Binary Trend Logs. It was previously being shifted by 8 hours.
- Viewing an MT that has no data in the specified date range will now properly drawn an empty graph.
- Content in the Device Backups pages will now be presented on the page faster than previously.
- Some specific types of Binary Trend Log data were not being handled properly by the Kaizen System. This has been corrected.
