Overview of Kaizen
This release improves the operation and adds more features.
New Features in Kaizen
Energy
- Icons for Energy type have been integrated throughout the energy dashboard. This will assist in identifying the type of energy being analyzed.
- Add Meter sidebar has been reformatted for clarity.
Estimator
- Controls to move between Estimator and Kaizen have been added to the ICON menu
Insights
- The selection status of Insight filter buttons will now be retained if you browse to insight and use the browser back button to return to the insight log table.
- Calculated Trend Log View and Run buttons have been replaced with icons.
Logic Flows
- New weather input blocks have been added. These use data from World Weather Online. The data blocks available are:
- Cloud Cover Data
- Humidity Data
- Precipitation Data
- Pressure Data
- Temperature Data
- Visibility Data
- Wind Speed Data
Kaizen Client
- Breadcrumb links have been reintroduced in the header bar of the page content. This will show the client path as well as building names and functionality. Clicking on the breadcrumb will return the user to the applicable page.
- If a Breadcrumb path is too long to fit on a page, the content will be truncated and insert … to handle the overflow text.
- Back buttons within Kaizen have been removed.
- The location of the Cancel buttons has been standardized to be at the bottom of the page beside a corresponding Submit button.
- Building profiles have been updated to include a local time zone identifier. This will be used in future releases for properly scheduling insights and reports.
- The device Monitoring table has been updated to allow sorting by time since the last heartbeat report.
- Only CopperTree users can now see the Inventory CopperCube Delete button.
Reports
- The report details page has been reformatted for consistency.
Issues Fixed
Charts
- When adding a chart from the Community Library to a building, the new chart can now have the same name as the library chart.
Energy
- Corrected problems where Breakdown Meters would overlap when the browser window was made small.
Insights
- Users are now able to share Insights properly to the Community Library.
- An “Enable” button has been added to allow an insight rule to be enabled following being disabled.
- Better feedback information will be given when a Calculated Trend Log fails to run manually.
- Corrected an issue where the insight type icons appeared too large in the Subscriptions page in Internet Explorer browsers.
- Editing an insight rule will now no longer create a new rule.
Kaizen Client
- Missing View icons have been placed appropriately.
- MAC addresses will now only appear once in the Device Settings list for a particular building.
- All the user profile information will now appear for all users.
- The client logo will now appear on the building’s Subscriptions setting page.
- Device Monitoring table and header formats now match properly.
Logic Flows
- In some instances, logic block button controls were being wrapped. This has been corrected.
Reports
- A proper check will now be done in KPI reports if there are no systems.
TL Viewer
- Custom date range selection will now show data properly for the specified range.
- Each Trend Log in a Muti-Trend graph will be drawn with a unique colour.
- Corrected an issue where Trend Log types were being mis-identified.
